The talk will focus on changing value systems and the role of the body as space constituting element. The topic is part of a dissertation project on how social space is produced in relation to different housing types in Guangzhou. Different methods on how to further engage with research on this topic shall be discussed.
Josefine Fokdal works since 2009 at the University of Technology of Berlin as a scientific employee in the field of architecture and international urbanism. Her research main focuses lie in the areas: participatory planning processes, house building and town planning, mega towns and space draughts in the Asian context.
The lecture will be held in English language, then time is, as usual, for questions and discussion (on in German and in English).
